It came without a stator, for which I've found a replacement from a 1996 fe501e. What's the correct procedure for testing the stator (other than putting it on the bike, and see if it'll run
)?
What is a good timing mark to line it up with?
I'd like to get a reusable oil filter, but can't quite figure out which one I need. I've been downloading the old parts manuals from husaberg.com, but I've not been able to figure it out.
Can anyone tell me the valve clearance spec for my particular model?
Is there a downloadable repair manual available for pre '97 models?
