My elecric system is falling apart. My headlight is flashing when I turn the handlebar. The elecrtic starter is'nt working. I belive it's the cabel that's running on under the tank to the front. I've done repairs there before but it's not holding up. Any ideérs how to make this hold up? The cabels are so thin and hard that they snap...

get an electrical diagram in front of you, a test light and a mate. mates are great here. even a simple woman can help by encouraging you to continue when in doubt. it's great at times like this to hear that vague 'mmmmm', 'ahaaa' and all the encouragement a man needs to go on with courage!

be brave.

and good luck!

regards

Taffy

I will get a sixpack or two and a friend and find the broken wires and replace them.

Jeeezzzz Taffy, I never knew that working on a Husaberg was such a manly, brave thing to do 8O :puke: :boxing: I guess a simple woman like me should put away my tools.

We've been riding together for 29 years, hopefully for another 29..
Don't let some misdirected male ramblings rattle ya..

Replace the wiring harness. While I have not priced it out it shouldn't be too expensive. If it is cost prohibitive, avoid multiple splices in any given circuit, use quality components(solder, heat shrink with mastik, etc.). I always wondered why berg did not use weather pack connectors  . Good luck.

I'm thinking of replacing it whith my own harness as you say. And women can be helpful, I know...

you can't put doubt into a man's mind at this point ladyberg...a bit like trying to assure yourself your not lost after an hour in the woods!!

the irony is I always say 'yes dear' to whatever is recommended for dinner and I'm the one cooking it!

now ladyberg everyone knows that the joke is on men - that's why god gave us broad shoulders!
