Hi All,

I am thinking of getting a 2002 FS 650 E supermoto

I have heard of Husaberg but know very little as i have always had a sports bike, and the little bit i have heard is that they are quite high maintanance
I am looking to convert from the sports bike to supermoto but only for commuting 5 miles a day to work and back and the odd blast :D ..what i am asking is if this bike is suitable or not from anyone elses experience.
Looking at the bike on saturday so any comments would be appreciated.

Like i said 2002 but supposed to be all tricked up with wp suspension, bobbins, blue samco hoses, map for ride mood and owned by a bike mechanic and bought from dave clarkes so all sounds good to me.

Cheers Steve.

Hi the 02 can be a good bike IF its been looked after and the mods have been done such as replacing the can wheel with a steel one as the 02 had an alu cam wheel, cam chain tensioner mod, main bearings upgraded and such like.
ask if the stator has been changed, upgraded or replaced.

they come with WP suspension as standard and also with the HI/LO mapping as well, so its been tricked up with some blue hoses :bounce:
how long has the bike mechanic had it? when was its last rebuild?

and yes they are HIGH maintanance, dont expect to do 5000 miles between oil changes more like 50, it only holds a liter of oil though.

oh and dont test ride it, cos if you do, you will buy it.......
