Guys,
Just wanted to ask if anyone has found a good after market shift lever that'll fit my 04' 550. May need to go back to the standard unit. I got one of Taffy's as a spare and when it's fitted it seems the spline is a little out of synq. The head of the lever is either somewhat to high or somewhat to low. I'm not sure if it's changed in desing but the one I bought prior was the same and fitted on fine and in the right position.

From what I can see RFK and hammerhead brand are all to suit the newer models, any ideas for other brands..? or is it OEM to save the day...?

Cheers

Hammerhead tips for Ktm measure the same thickness and you can get different offsets i remember looking into it a while ago. The are expensive around 40aus each tip that includes c-clip and pin.

MCS , Motor Cycle Specialties in QLD have an aftermarket lever that fits good and lasts, its not cheap **** alloy. I have one on one of my bikes and its going the distance. I may have another here somewhere in stock but most bike shops deal with MCS. i can order in for half the price of genuine.
