I changed a 450 case set to a 470 set at work today and all that resulted in a lot of really loud gear noise.I took the cover off and it seems that the gears run really tight.I see that one clutch basket takes a bushing and the other one takes a double set of caged bearings.The mains are also different .Is it possible that all these different parts are not interchangable? Is there anybody out there that have ever measured the case difference,are they the same? cheers!
