Guys, how you all doing?

Does anyone have any inside track yet on the 2010 bikes? Are there any mods being made and when are they likely to see the light of day?

There are no 570's left in Western Australia and when i tried to discuss an early deposit for a 2010, the local dealer was not able to confirm when they might arrive.

I have been an orange man for a good while and a run out 09 530EXC-R was on the cards. But i got a 1/2hr ride on a 500km old 570 a month back and was very impressed. But there is nothing on the horizon here for getting an 09 and thought i may as well just get my coin down on a 2010.

Cheers - Colin

hi, why don't you ask your dealer to get one from another dealer? there's some in the seaford dealership(victoria) my local dealer in geelong got one for me that way. good luck

I know that Valley Force Husaberg in Lilydale Victoria still have quite a few "09 570's still in stock. Phone number is (03) 9735 9433

Hey Colin,

That 530exc-r is a sweet bike. I was thinking about picking one up or a 505. These new Bergs are awesome bikes. It will be awhile before I can get a newer model. I'm just really enjoying my 00 FC501.

G'day Colin welcome to UHE.

I't does seem that the east coast dealers have a few '09's left, also Suttos, Bendigo Dirtbikes and Orange Husaberg / KTM would be worth a try, delivery cost me $200 from Bto Adelaide.

Azza.

I had the same problem with my 08

only 2 dealers wanted to help out, Gecko in canberra and orangeberg.

best advice I can offer as a WA resident is to forget where the bike actually is and get it direct from someone who really wants to help, from personal experience the customer service of our dealer isn't up there with some of the others.

Just MHO

Thanks guys, anybody have any personal experience of bringing in a new offroad model fron Interstate and gettingit through the pits for full A class rego?

Bushie, do you have any specific gripes abiout our local dealer?

no specific gripes, they're not very good at calling back or following up stuff or completing work when they said it would be done

in a nutshell that resulted in me waiting nearly 2 weeks longer for my bike than expected, the intake valves were tight and a few other little PD things I didn't think were very professional but then im a fussy bugger.

one guy I know went to honda because he does have specific customer service gripes with the WA dealer but im not privy to the details.

IMHO as far as the motorcycle industry goes they are par for the course. nicer and more knowledgeable than my small town local jap dealer guys for sure.

there are other australian dealers though on the east coast who provide that little bit extra service, and in this instance they actually have what you want... a new bike, so why not use one of them.

when I was younger I gave everyone 3 chances now im old and grumpy or wiser or summink so I give everyone 1 chance, if they stuff up once with service I go elsewhere

Well that comes back to my point about getting a bike from interstate and getting it through the pits. I have never done it, having always bought new dealer bikes or used ones that already have A class on them. I am not fussed about getting a PDI done and all the initial pre delivery stuff, as i would just get it delivered to Alan at Success M/C's and let him take care of it. But the pits would be something new to me.

Hi Colinmc400, If your after a 570 I've got them instock! Also till the end of June our ADB advert is "Buy a FE570 and get a Rekluse Pro for 1/2 price fitted" So if I can help out please call me on 02 47311173 at Sutto's MC Supply NSW.
Best Regards

they have to go over the pits every 12 months in nsw, won't be a problem with a new bike. been through it before with old bikes n cars, over here they don't even use an accelerometer for the brake test.
