FX650e FS650e???

Anyone know the difference between the two can,t find much on the web re; the fx.
I suspect the fx is the mx version but not sure anyone know?????
 
FX is the cross country model. Basically an FE with no lights. FS is in motard trim. I don't believe they ever made an FC (MX) model 650, so the FX was as close as you could come.
 
The FX designaion is the off road desert version. An FX has no lights, e-start, and wide ratio tranny. Its basicly an e-start FE without lights.
 
Thanks al!!!,ive basically got my hands on a fx650e in motard trim with lights,road legal,it does appear to have very long gearing if you know what i mean!but still lifts in the first four out of six gears its seems quicker than my fs, it looks exactly the same too!
Anyone know if the fx needs more frequent oil changes,general maintenance than the fs????
 
The motors should be the same. As far as maintenance, frequent works best :wink:
