I'm new to both Husabergs and fuel injected bikes. Point me in the right direction.
I just bought a 2010 FX450. It had a new fuel pump installed last year. It runs fine at high rpm, but when I blip the throttle off idle, the engine sputters and dies.
If this were a carb bike, I'd start by checking the accelerator pump, fuel screw & pilot jet but I have no experience with FI bikes.
So far, this is what I am planning to check: battery voltage & connections, the spark plug & cap, the fuel pump pressure, the fuel pump filter, the in-line fuel filter, the fuel line inside of the tank, and the TPS.
Am I missing anything?
What is the TPS voltage or resistance suposed to be?
Thanks for any tips or advice.
