FX450 dyno

For a 450 trails bike the heads are pretty good imo, in the perspective of a high performance engine its not doing particularly well no.
These heads were not designed to be high performing so it will take some dramatic moves to change that, BUT you need to know where the narrow section is, and that is the heads wont flow enough to make any top end as they come. And still with a decent flowing head the cams arent going to lift enough to get any real performance out of it in perspective to other high performing bike engines.

Edit: While talking with Jens he said that no development was done for the 570, this model only existed in a market perspective on paper for the dev team.

Tom, would you mind elaborating on the the 'gas exchange' please? Are you saying the head/ports are ok for the 450 but restricted for the 570?

he didn't say the head, he said the intake. get a CRF throttle body and see what happens

Yes you can see they are made up of mostly avail off the shelf parts.
