Hi guys

I'm rebuilding one FX 470 01' and when I colsed the cases I had one axial clearence of 1,5 mm.
The crank is in the corrent dimension.
What am I missing ???

Thanks

well

Since there are no better ideas, I will put a 1mm washer between the crank and the counter balancer.
Thanks

With the amount of money that I have spent there, I don't think so ..

You should have 0,45mm axial clearance of the crank on 450s and 470s to be on the save side, so add some shims and then it should be ok. But take care that you use the correct dimension (small ones) not that you close the oil holes on the crank and you conrod bearing gets damaged after a few hours again!!!

No Idon't have any shims inside the crank, I think husaberg dosen't have any.

When I bought the bike the engine was ruined but I don't think it had this float, changed the conrod to a new prox and because the holes of the pin wasen't in the same place (the pin was longer) I stayed with the same pin, and the size of the crank is correct with the manual, so I don't know were this float came from.

Anyway I will try this solution, thanks for the avice.
