Mate, the only thing I have found that sticks remotely to xlpe is crazy glue. I fear that depending on the size of the leaking area you may have to purchase a new tank. Dale

I've plugged small leaks with Loctite Master Gasket. It stays a bit flexible, but being anerobic, gotta seal it off. Could apply a patch with some self tappers I suppose, using it on the threads too if its a big one.

3M DP8005 or DP8010 will stick.
Its more of an adhesive and it isn't cheap but cheaper than a new tank.

they are for an acrylic application? is that about right?

I'd have thought a polyurethene app was better?

apparently the 8010 is slower but at the end of the day it's the solvent attack that phuqs em up.

DP8010 is the business!

rode the bike in tests all day saturday and green laned on sunday.

Now all i need is a sh**load more glue as the rear end snapped clean off due to the weight of mud on Saturday.

sorted!
