Fuel supply on Dellorto

Does the Dellorto need both fuel supplies on to run? I'm just wondering about leaving one off as a reserve. I can't answer the question myself as I don't have it sorted and running yet.

Thx

I think you should have a T-fitting on the fuel lines above the carb. If thisis the case you do not need both of them on, until you are low enough to have one side go dry

The Dellorto has two inlets, each connected to a separate petcock. My question is, do both petcocks need to be turned on or can I run on one and leave the other side of the tank for reserve.

I used to have both connected but only turn one on thinking it would be a reserve.
Make sure you still use booth petcocks because junk will build up in the side tank you don't use.
Don't turn too fast or fun because you'll loose your reserve.

The new petcocks with reserve are $14 each
