i just got a new 2010 fx 450 and have ridden it 3 times.....mostly all single track and a little concerned when my fuel light came on at 60KM....i was back at the car with 70Km on the bike....i filled it back up with 7.3Litres which means the bike had about 1.2 liters left in the tank....based on that this bike will only do 80km?? i got 120k out of my 08 FE550 and other posts suggest the new fi bikes get well over 110km on the stock 8.5liter tank....will it get better once the engine breaks in? anyone else getting similar mileage?? help : ) otherwise the bike is amazing!!!!! i wanna ride\!!!!!

All depends on the rider and riding terrain. For desert / x-country riding I work on a range of 80km, to be safe.
If I rode conservatively I could probably increase the range, but what fun would that be?
