i just bought a 98' husaberg with a dellotro carb from a friend who had the lines messed up. i cleaned the carb and the needle and valve are not stuck and the bowl is set right but its still leaking fuel every where. can anyone post pics of their 98' fuel lines at the carb and gas tank. if not can you please explain how the fuel lines run. thank you

i just got it started but i have to turn the fuel on and off when i start and stop it. that seems to work but i will try the tapping. thanks taffy anything for a leaking radiator.

and also on the left side of the engine there is a nipple does that go to the right side of the gas tank so it pushes fuel to the other side of the tank

The nipple from the engine goes to a vacuum pump which is mounted to the gas tank. The pump takes fuel from the right side of the gas tank and pumps it to the left.

It sounds as if your float valve is stuck which is causing the fuel to keep flowing. Replace it or do as Taffy suggests and tap the side of the float bowl till it's freed up. Once it's freed, it shouldn't stick for the remainder of your ride.
