Hi all I looked around and in my downloads and did not see a replacement part # for the fuel lines.Mine have worn a hole in the side of the U shaped line that feeds into the carb from the tee. From contact on a small hex bolt on the side of the carb.Is this part available? or do you doctor something up that changes the lines postion away from the carb side and exhaust heat.Any feed back will be appreciated.

Hi Fedge,

I see what you mean......... It's a KTM part # though if you want that particular piece.

I re configured my fuel line and ran the inlet over the top of the intake bell. I ran the left side petcock line under the intake boot and over the top of the batter to a Y fitting and covered all those lines with a radiant heat shield available from summit racing.

Thanks Dale that's just what I will do should solve the problem at the same time. Thanks for the advise. So I see from the reports that you are enjoying your new ride? Nice. :D

I am in the process of rebuilding my 450 doing the big end this time and bearings. Getting ready for bike week going to take in the GNCC March 3rd provided I have parts by Friday so that I can get on with the job.
This time the clutch exploded and all the material from the clutches mixed in the oil acted like lapping compound and wore away the rings and sleeve. What a mess. Also going with a set of stainless valves the factory ones lasted the length of the last rebuild about 15 hours. That what you get for revving the crap out of it with that big 41 on there.Oh well live and learn just have fun along the way.
