fuel leaking from float chamber.

I installed an Keihin FCR MX in my husa 2001.
To avoid the foul inlet is touching the exhaust (boiling fuel!) I have turned the carb CCW, nearly 11-5 o´clock position.
When I put the bike on the side stand or do the same with a wooden slats for the le-mans start, sometimes the chamber gets full and leaks over the bleeder tube in the middle of the chamber.

This is not really new to me and i have checked the carb once before.

All seems ok. The needle, the float, no canting....

Is the carb. sensitive for sloping position?

Is it a solution to lengthen the tube from the bleeder a little bit?

The float position seems ok, but I will check it again.
(as shown in the owners manual 2005, page 52)

the only solution i can think of is to put the cab back at 12:00. it is indeed sensitive to a sloping position.
