Fuel in Airbox

So yesterday I have been out riding, all went well. Today I wanted to start the bike up again and it didn't start. Checked spark, it was fine, the only thing I found that was wrong is that it had fuel in the airbox. The carb I am currently using is the Dellorto.
What can be causing this?

Thx, Tom

Hi Tamas

Some times that can happen, there is too many gas going on the carb, specially when hot, some times you can see gas on the rubber boot. This can also happen if the valve of floats is not closing properly or the floats are stuck.

What can also happens is you can see oil on the boot, because it's coming from the head breath, it runs down the frame and it goes it to the rubber boot.

Thx mate! I removed the carb, cleaned it put it back on and it fired right up. No petrol in the airbox either.
