ok here we go got the bike in pieces tank off plug out airfilter off plug color ok but wet" ie fuel" dry off put back in cap turn over eng near gave me a heart attack 8O fuel shot out all over the place and for quite a few turns to?checked air box big puddle in there to . any way dry it out dropped bowl on carb no water in there,put tank on turn on petrol try to start no go looked in air box fuel in there again so tunned fuel taps off kicked over couple of times and yes we ave life! turn fuel on and runs sweet ? 
Now then am i correct in thinking its probley just the needle valve sticking or could some thing else be causing this influx of fuel/bearing in mind the start of this was the bike cutting out going down hill,throttle closed?only to cut out on demand at the bottom.
