Hi, this is my first post to the forum and im hoping to learn some new information about my recently purchased 2009 FE390.
So as mentioned i recently bought a 09 FE390 and have been quite happy overall with its performance all round except for its fuel economy. Compared to my dad's Husqavrna te449 the fuel economy is terrible! after the same trail ride my dad had used just under 3.7L while i used 7L! (mind you my dad rides quite a bit more aggressively). I Clean the air filter after ride and have recently changed all oil's and since im a bit fussy the bike is kept clean and well maintained, I also have the little switch re-mapper on the handlebars set to the wild preset. Is it normal for these bikes to use this much fuel or do i have a problem?
Any general tips and tricks for the 390's would be appreciated too.
Thanks!
