Im looking to move into the Berg community by purchasing a FS650E.
I live in Sydney, Australia and have lined up a 2004 FS650E to have a look at this weekend. The seller says it has 7000km on it and has had a rebuild at 3500km after the prev owner bent a valve.
I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight as to what to look for when purchasing one of these bikes, and if there are any problems in 2004 specifically that I should be looking for. Furthermore, if those problems are big enough to merit waiting for a later model to pop up.
Any help is appreciated as i am super keen to jump on a berg after just selling my 2005 XR650R supermoto.
While im at it, if anyone in the sydney or surrounding area is selling a 2004+ FS650E please send me a message because id love to see what's out there.
