FS650e 2005 Supermoto any problems

Hi i'm looking into buying a new FS650e 2005 Supermoto and i'd like to know any problems that they suffer from?
It would be mainly used for racing with the odd short road ride.
I'm not the fastest rider so i don't think i'll be pushing the engine very hard!!!

Any info would be great

no problems as i know. fit an akrapovic and slipper and go ride. there's been talk of blueprinting the crank assembly in the cases as they went to roller from ball race but nobody has come on site and said owt about it.

afore ye go to perth meet up with whosaberg who only just joined us at xmas but is from perth. he'll be your next door neighbour but one which will be about 100 miles i should think!

105 engine hours and 2600 miles on my 05 FS650.

No problemos to report.

Make sure the 05 FS650 you're looking at has the gear wheel torque limiter (aka starter clutch) factory warranty part replacement already done or the part is in stock and ready for install.
