Hi there guys. I just want to ask a few question here i've got the fs650e late 04 model.
1- how can i find out where the bikes from(country)
2- how often should you change the cam chain?
3- whats the best all round gearing for road use(fun) top speed's not important.but the safety of the engine is i dont wanna strain it to much?
Well for now thats is so please give us a hand here thanks.

hello Robg187, I new member to! I have this bike!!! I dont know 2 or 3 sorry, but 1 - bike from Sweden (same couleur as flag)

thank you

Anton

Thanks man i know its from sweden but is it from AUS or Europe (Model)Manufactured?

Rob, your signature doesn't say where you are in the world but whatever country your in then that'd be the model you've got.
Gearing for the road, 15/42 gives about 90mph top speed and loads of fun in the lower gears........ 16/42 is also very popular with other members. (this is for 17" wheels)
hope this helps.

tip-it-in

the lights are on but nobody's at home right?

rob

there are now about 6 husaberg owners on the island you really need to get everyone together. xristos is from there and just recently we've had 3-4 new members. now whether that's the same bike and 4 new owners is another thing!

the cam chain should be changes to an IWIS as everything elsde is shyte. so you'll be able to spot that with the left cover off by looking at the name on the links. old german for an 'I' is spelt with a 'J' so it looks like a 'JWIS' chain ok?

you need to pull the top end off, go to DVS kit before a conical spring breaks, while there check the cam follower bearings, check the tappet pads for cupping which will indicate tuliped valves.

get a modern decomp on it and set it all up nice and you'll be away!

have a word with me via PM if you want help finding cypriots on huseys and also if you want parts and have startring issues etc.

regards

Taffy
