G'day,

Has anyone run a Fs 570 against a Fs650?......cause my 650 rocks and I'm interested in the 570's?

Cheers Cam

No comparison power wise, the 650 rocks and is more easy to tune.

Handling and suspension wise...570 all the way. Both are big bikes to throw around, but the 570 feels more lighter even though it's wide bike to ride where your knees and heels are compared to 450 mx's.

We'll see how the motor responds on the 570 when I'm done building it. It requires at least full exhaust, air filter and seat + shroud mod for more air, ignition map switch and a solid tune. Otherwise you are going to be pretty disappointed how the motor feels so linear through the powerband without any top end (falls on it's face @ 8000rpm).

I made 55whp / 52Nm tq with only FMF ti megabomb header + Akra slip-on, dna filter + air mods, aggressive timing on stock ecu and untuned but somewhat randomly richened fueling map via UST tool. Pulls to 9800rpm rev limit with over 50whp on wheel a shy above 9000rpm. Torque falls off badly after 7000rpm (throttle body, head, cam restrictions).

I have had both fs 650 07 and now fs570 2010.
They are both fast but the feeling you get on the bikes is completely different the 570 is so much easy'r to ride it doesn't feel as wild/handfull to ride because of the smooth power delivery it also is more stable at speed and feels lighter even though it's not.
The 650 has some more hp/nm the 570 has the handling advantage+imo slightly better brakes to compared to my 07 650.
I think stock vs stock the 650 has +-5 extra hp but I am faster on the 570 on track compared to 650 just because it gives me so much confidence and it's so efortless to throw around the 650 needs a little more muscle to throw around and I got tired on it much faster.
