Fs650 cracked crank casing inside ignition cover.

A dark dark place
Looking to shine any light on this issue, any one suffered similar? I imagine the issue could either be caused by bearing failure or crank spread? What's my chances of repairs?
 
Hi.

Should be repairable. Just make sure you drill a small hole at the end of the crack first (where the crack is still developing) before its welded otherwise it will likely crack again. A reputable welder should be able to sort it.
