Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum-never knew it was online, so glad to find other 'berg sm fans! I'm in Oregon, so don't see too many here. I raced an '04 FS450 for a couple years, then sold it for some reason that made sense at the time (*******).
I've seen the light again and stumbled on to an '05 FS650E with less than 2k miles that I was pretty happy to pick up for $4100. It has a full Akro system and sliders, but no evidence of racing. I've got a nice track 2 miles away (pat's acres) and will like to get it out there in spring.
Here it be;

I noticed in my manual that the 650 has the needle clip 2 from the top compared to 6 on the 450, and also has a 160 main instead of a 178. Can anyone give me some info on why the leaner settings, or recommended set up for the full exhaust system?
Thanks!

Generally they are jetted rich stock. Lots and lots of jetting info on site. Terrific info assembled by Taffy in the Doc:
