I really like the Motul 300v 10w50 it's expensive but worth the investment in my opinion. I would avoid the cheap 15w40 diesel oil (rotella) yes it will work but doesn't have the anti-foaming properties needed for the gearbox. That being said I have used it in lower dollar bikes....but longevity and wear are questionable and not worth the gamble in my opinion.
I was told DELO400 15-40 diesel oil is best for my berg 06 model, ive been using it religiously and it works great.

A little......what i find works best is trying to grab neutral while still rolling to a stop.

That's probably because you change it often. I don't believe DELO has a wet clutch rating.... so running it is almost the same as rotella but with the added possibility of clutch slippage.
