fs570 tire pressure

the manual says 23 psi for the rear tire on my fs570, got to say that seems very low to me. pushing my thumb into the middle of the back tire seems like its a little flat at 23psi. any comments on this one?
 
We tend to run tyres on the track (road) softish to help them heat up to operating temp. Motards are priddy light compared to road bikes so they dont work the tyres as hard, hence lower pressures to make the tyres work......
Adjust pressure according to condition of tyre after abuse.
