FS: CV4 Fuel Kool Heat Blanket For FE390, 450, 570

Hi all. I ended up with an extra CV4 heat blanket during this past year. It is brand new, never mounted. Works on all FE 390, 450 & 570 tanks.

I had my exhaust wrapped and it made a noticeable difference. Just a note; the DEI silver heat applique won't work on the '09 tanks; the adhesive won't stay stuck - probably due to outgassing on the non-EPA tanks ('10 and later have EPA tanks that don't outgas). So if you want something more than the wrapping then the blanket is probably your only option. I can't speak for the gold applique, but I imagine it uses the same adhesive as the silver.

I'd beg to differ on the 2010 tanks not leaching gas fumes--at least on the FX they absolutely do.

I bought 2 sheets of the CV4 paper and spent the better part of an hour custom cutting and applying it to the underside of my tank on my new '10 FE450.
Hope it sticks

The FX did not get the EPA tank so it out gasses just fine!!! It won't stick very well....

So on a FX 450 is the better option wrapping your header?
