Hello, I'm setting up my new trailtech vapour and I'd like confirmation on the redline so i can set the warning light. I read it's around 8600 rpm ?

Has anyone had theirs on a dyno, I'd like to know when the power starts to tail off so i can work a shift point/rpm as well.

Cheers.
Nick.

nick, just run it in first gear til the valves springs break and subtract 200. :bounce3:

mine goes to around 9000RPM on dyno

shifting point on mine around 7850rpm, a bit over highest point of peak power.

peak power dependin g of air fuel and mot settings

I'm interested where the nasty vibration occours, mine had a weird sudden increase in vibes around 7500 at a guess

when I removed the counterbalancer it was sooo much smoother up top
