fs 650 plated in montreal Canada

I knew that husabergs are rare in montreal, I myself have never seen one on the road. until now! I picked up a 2005 fs650e a couple of weeks ago. it's plated for the street. I had no problems switching the bike into my name. Am I the lucky one who got a berg plated on the street or is it that there are'nt strret berg's out there. I read somewhere on here that they just got a couple of 2001 models cleared through transport canada.

can somebody shed some light on this subject for me

I bought mine, (same model you have) from a dealer in Ottawa. I heard that Quebec was kicking these bikes (supermoto) off the road, I have a sneaking suspicion that you and I have the 2 in the country for that model and year. That is unless they imported more then 2 fs650E, who would know that?

if we were the only two with fs650e bergs that would be awsome. I know theres a website www.riv.ca that is for importing vehicles to canada but I don't see any bergs on that list. I think transport Canada is done kicking sm bikes off the road. transport was going after the off-road bikes that got converted to sm bikes eg: honda xr650 or kawasaki klx650. I still see a couple of xr650's out on the roads.
