FS 600 Muffler

Will a 2000 501 muffler fit a 1999 FS600E? It appears that other than the 501 mufler will fit, however it is oval shaped and not round. I was told by a dealership that it would fit.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

you're dealing with 2 different frames so the chances that the mount points are the same are slim, but as long as the muffler properly meets the midpipe, brackets would solve your mount problem.

Thanks. I am still waiting on a new subframe so I will not be able to fit it up until then.The muffler does match up wit the head and smaller support tube though.
