I spent some time looking for the Akraprovic slip-on muffler for the FS, that one with the carbon end cap, and was having difficulties until I saw somewhere that this muffler in fact is the exact same as a KTM 450-520 etc.
That got me wondering if I could go out looking for a specific KTM model muffler to use as the slip-on for my FS, which could give me a wider spectrum of choice (arrow, leo-vince, yoshimura etc) instead of just FMF or Akra as it appears to be now.
But I wanted to be sure they fit (bolts and stock mid-pipe). Having leaks in the muffler usually is experienced through a lot of pops on decel and I hate that.
So anyone has some links to mufflers that would FIT a stock FS 2011?
