I believe an Akra map has been loaded to the stock ECU and the JD tuner then piggybacks on top of that

No.

The Akra map may have a timing change. The JD/EJK (Dobeck) tuner can only change fueling.

The Dobeck tuners are adjustable Of course.

Errol, measure the barrel length and ill check against one of mine.

I realise the poster is from aus so this info isnt really helpful here, but if someone reads this and would consider buying stuff from Germany I have good experience using the FPTuning ecu he put up for the German supermoto league.

Its a true plug and play ecu, just unhook the oem and hook this up. You get a full engine management system to control injection timing, pulse width, ignition timing, stall revs for starting, warm up enrichment to mention a few, quickshifter of course, I cant think of one thing I missed. 2c
