I need to replace the front brake switch on my berg and think that I would prefer to go down the path of the banjo bolt style switch instead of the fiddly little electrical switch under the lever (gets caked in mud and ceases all the time). Is there any reason not to make this change?
Also, if anyone has done it, which thread is required for the banjo bolt?

Edit - dont worry about size, just found it in the parts catalogue - M10 x 1
