Hi!

Just noticed today I'll need to change my front brake pads soon. Took a look at the manual and found that it has these at the moment:

50313030100 - BRAKEP. SET FR. TOSHIBA TT2701 HHB

But it also has 3 other pads listed there:

50313030000 - BRAKE PAD SET FR. TOSHIBA H38
54613209044 - BRAKE PAD SET FR. FERODO ID450
59013030000 - BRAKE PAT SET FR. SINTER 03

What's the difference between all of these and what's your experience with brake pads (for supermoto)?

Thanks

i don't know about Toshiba but just name the caliper, how many pistons and if it is a radial and then just buy sintered and be done with all that bull...

regards

Just to throw another part number out there :\

I bought FTE pads part # 58613030300 about 6,000 miles ago.

They have only worn about 20%, but I'm mostly riding the canyons and not charging into the corners.

They were ~$57 at my local KTM shop.

Very smooth and predictable even in the dirt. (on 17's) No surprises.. It never does anymore or less braking than I want.

Had the 650FS on the kart track Sunday… I warmed the caliper up quite a bit, and it performed great.

This is with 2 year old fluid, I just bought a can of 5.1 to flush out the old fluid though. Going to change the rear DOT4 to 5.1…

This with a Beringer radial master cylinder, Beringer 4 pot radial caliper, slotted braking 310mm disc (getting a little worn, but still in spec)

You just made me realise I was looking at the wrong manual (FE and not FS)... even though I can't find any reference on the FS manual to que specific caliper I would say your's sounds exactly as what I can see on mine (blue, behringer, FTE).
