I am starting this thread so we can stay on topic and start planning our next FR, lets all get together on this as a group and start figuring this out. We all know what a excellent time was had in CO, so lets do it again.

To get this rolling Lets here your suggestions.

1) Where should we have it

2) When we should have it

3) Lets it be known if you can volunteer to help in any way large or small.

Thanks
Sethro

Here's a suggestion for the next Force Ride: A theme song from the Mighty Led Zeppelin.

Immigrant Song:

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying:
Valhalla, I am coming!
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.
Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green,
Can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war.
We are your overlords.
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.
So now youd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust can win the day
Despite of all your losing.

well after talking to some of you all it seems its actually easier for me to get to most places as i dont have to drive for 26hrs, i just get a chaffeur driven plane, so location wise feel free to choose, then if anyone needs a driving assistant i'll just fly in and do my bit - as long as everything goes to plan and i can make it.

Ditto for point 2, again pretty easy to sort out for me so feel free.

As for point 3, obviously im a bit limited for helping on the ground as i'm a couple of 1000 miles away but as i've said previously, if there's anything i can help with give me a shout.

roll on 2011

ps. should i be singing the immigrant song or am i the invading horde?

:?: Anybody have any idea for; what area would be closest for the majority of UHE members to hold FR4? Where would be middle ground for all UHE members with that area still having great trails to suite all skill levels? :?:

I remember ( well not too well) seeing Zep way back just before Houses of the Holy came out. The played for a while and then brought out stools and Acoustic instruments and sat down. They said" When you shut up we'll play, Your time and our money." Finally everybbody quieted down and were blown away by the direction the Zep was heading.
NOW back to the regularly scheduled program

My vote is for Oregon. I have no idea what are is best in regards to Taffy and Elf's question, nor can I be of much help planning. However, Oregon is the one area where I can viable drive myself and bike down to.
I'm just one small voice, but at least I've said my piece.

I would love to ride in TN again but Oregon would  We have never been there but we have read a lot about the riding up there & understand that it is absolutely stellar. We would definitely make the haul up. I think it would be well worth it :D

"jeez I would love to ride in BC, bet its good up there"

It is a pretty awesome place to ride, lots of variety. I just assumed that the majority of FR4 attendees would be from the USA, so it's logical to have it down there. Plus, since your all shady characters, I would imagine half of ya would get stuck at the border! :p

I cant get in. Yall dont let us carry guns either.
Bud is good though

Never ridden in TN, sounds like it's cool. Been to CO would love to go back. OR sounds cool but is way to far for me to drive, so I'd have to bum a bike from someone; but if it's half as cool as FR3 was then I'm there.

Bobzilla,
I'm thinking of starting a business....just before you cross the line into Canada, we set up lockers where you can check your gun(s). Deposit your gun in the locker for like $5 per day, pick it up when you come back from Canada. What do you think?

Rod just gave me another good idea. If we schedule FR4 on an off weekend for the National Enduro series, we could prolly get Lafferty and Fahringer to show up. They might give us some riding lessons. We all could give them some beer drinkinglessons.

That would be super SWEET! It is amazing how much one can learn from riding with guys like that. Even if it is only for a few seconds until I eat their dust. I have had the oppurtunity to get to ride with a lot of pro riders & I always come away from the experience having learned something.
