Have anyone experience of that the WP fork starts to be harsh when the operating time increases?
I have indications that the WP-fork gets worn more rapidly then other brands.
Have you with over 150 hours on the bike noticed this?

left to me again!

i service my forks and now the harshness is gone.

when servicing i do the following

check and clean seals and dust caps. grease under dust caps or oil some 'slivers' of sponge in lightweight oil.
use some scotchbrite in engine cleaner on the 4 bushes.
also the piston ring on the MV.
fresh oil is what really gets rid of it.
can check the shims for being warped but they should be good. check the shim that sits ON the piston face.
i pour fluid down the face of the chrome inner and look for it to go around chips. these i use a stone on.

also look for the anodisation of the chrome tube to be worn out. this does happen and is notoriously thin from the factory.

I will do this next time I disassemble the fork. The rest I have done.

This could be the problem. I am not sure how the surface should look like.
It's a difference in the surface lustre between the upper part of the tube compared with the part which is in contact with the lower tube. Nevertheless, there is an anodizing surface in within the whole tube.

i gained some plushness last year when i disassembled my forks and cleaned all the valves/shims etc and replaced with new oil. there was a black sludge around the base valve which i don't think would have been helping. this was at 100hrs.

a revalve is the only way to get real improvements but that is a different story.

Have Fun
