Does a specific model ktm spring work in the front of the 01 48mm WP forks. I've searched here and around the web. Not finding much info. Mine has 46 springs in it which are much too stiff.

the 46 would suit a 175-200lb rider. the valving is very harsh. the springs are 495mm long i believe. if you go on vaious sites such as MXtech you can see "495" or "505" in the codes.
