How much should the front fork sag under riders weight?
How do you mesure it?

35mm is a good place to start..... Then tune from there. make sure you are using all the stroke but not bottoming to much. You also what a balanced feel.

Put a zip tie on the fork slider, slide it up to the top, bounce a bit and have someone slide it back up to the top for you while you sit on it. Compare that measurement to the one while it sits on the stand fully extended.

Keep the zip tie there to make sure you are using you travel.

Fixed my post, I'm going back to 35mm. I got confused.....
35 mm of what? Static sag or rider sag?

my berg has now a 45-50mm static sag and 75-80mm rider sag on the Forks (mesuring the lenght of the crome tubes)

I found some where on the internet that rider sag is supposed to be about 22-26% of total travel on the front forks.

Is that right or?

Regards

Crap, I have been dealing with shock lengths and fork offset I have forgotten what mine is.... I'll check and let you know.

I should have checked before I posted, sorry.
