EuroEnduro, HuskyRyder, myself, and a few others have been discussing returning to Moab in the fall; or should we say autumn? Unless One Lung comes, then it will be fall.

Any other people interested in a post Labor Day ride?

risky1, unklemoose, ??

Part of the purpose will be to scout new trails for next year's ride. Therefore, we won't be riding any of the trails that we rode last week.

I am interested, just depends when. Hopefully my club CERA we will be putting on another event the first of November and if my daughter is still racing depends on when. I will going to Las Vega the 3rd week of October for a convention (TUTS the drinks are on you).

count me in. i probably still won't have a blue/yellow bike cuz i'm giving ****'s racing all my money to fix up the suspension on my 300. maybe we could check out hidden canyon rim on the way to 10-mile wash area. if you park at blue hills road (across the hwy from klondike bluffs trailhead), you can reach 10-mile wash pretty easily and quickly. i haven't really explored past hidden canyon (bartlett wash area), but there's supposed to be good riding.

another good idea (more oriented to riders with highly evolved rock skills) would be a big-a$$ fins and things/kokopelli/UPS/porcupine rim ride. UPS and porc rim have some fairly difficult technical maneuvers.

a very scenic and fun ride that would be accessible for strong novice and intermediate riders is the top of the world/kokopelli/onion creek ride. i did a write up at http://www.motosapiens.net/moabmoto.html if anyone is interested. my girlfriend rode it on a ttr125l, but i rode her bike down the worst section (50' or less) of the one scary downhill.

i have some of this stuff gps'd, so the technologically advanced could make use of that information too.

Velo, have you ever rode the Jericho [Cherry Creek] area just north of Delta Utah? They have the National Hare scrambles there in the spring and fall. Great riding area. Its not too far from Ely.

There is an AMA national May 7th in Jericho/Cherry Creek. It is pretty torn up there though, and lots of dunes.

haven't ridden out there yet. apparently they do lose the snow a little before we do, but i've been traveling (2 more trips to utah since the force ride). might get out that way this month sometime, up into the higher country.
