Force Ride 3 Event T-Shirt art design

I liked the grey shirts from FR II it hides coffee stains better than white. What history book ? The one where Patton had to ride Monty's *** across north Africa, Siscily and half of Europe, because the tea swilling limey couldn't get out of the way.

Köttbullar

Slightly Off-Topic:

In Sweden köttbullar (meatballs) are made with ground beef or a mix of ground beef and pork, mixed with breadcrumbs soaked in milk and finely chopped onions. They are seasoned with white pepper or allspice and salt. Swedish meatballs are traditionally served with gravy, boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam, and sometimes fresh pickled cucumber. Swedish meatballs are served at the cafeteria at most IKEA locations around the world, produced by Swedens largest, and arguably the worlds largest, producer of meatballs: Gunnar Dafgård AB. In the United States there are a number of variations, based on the assimilation of Swedes in the Midwest. A common side is egg noodles, though it tends to be an item for buffets and Smörgåsbord. Swedish meatballs are also popular in the neighbouring countries of Norway and Denmark.

Guys,
I have one of the new "Direct to Garment" printers (big $$$) and I can print just about anything you come up with using that machine as long as it is done on a light colored shirt, like white, yellow, grey etc. It will not print on dark colors as it does not use white ink.

Dark colors would require regular screen printing due do the need for a white base coat.

Cypher, I like what you have come up with. I would need the Husaberg logo in a vectored or EPS format to allow sizing without distortion.

Mike

just downloaded a program to convert the bitmap to vector or eps so will have a play.

here's something else i was playing with.

wanted to get the bottom lettering to curve the same as the top but couldnt figure out how.

gclogo_big_BLUE_AND_YELLOW_svg_image2449_4294967028.sized.jpg

for those that dont know its the gunnison city logo thats been given the UHE treatment.

here's another idea. what i'm also thinking is either ride sponsor logos vertically down each side of the bikes or a list of the world champs won using the year inside a lauel wreath.

from the bottom the bikes are a 1989 fe501, 2000 fc501, 2009 fe 450.
As these represent the 20 yrs that husaberg have been avalible to the public and also when major visible chages have taken place.

shirt_template_1989_2009.jpg

jasons looking at making the bottom text to match the uhe logo so that will also make it look better.

also most of my ideas are for the back of the shirt rather than the front as i dont like much else other than a small logo on the front of my t-shirts.

dont know why?

Don't miss the pre millennium bike. I was looking at Miami Ink On Discovery and came up with a tattoo with husaberg between the shoulders and the 4 different engines on the back but my girlfriend didn't persuaded the idea?? they are so sensitive :D

For fuxx sake!! Egg noodles with meatballs that is the worst thing iwe ever heard. How tastless can you Americans be??

it's husaberg's 21st birthday next year isn't it? i thought they started production in '88?

my ideal t-shirt would be a graphic of our german freind riding out that loop at the camera.

awesome!

regards

Taffy

Instead of using the generic bike outline pics, how about using this pic on one side, and Rick's super awesome over the bars crash pic on the other? Also, how about using the Bergie the bear cartoon logo on there too?

hrib_DCP_0032_1.sized.jpg

have already turned bosses crash into a vector file and am playing with it in design. ditto with bergy.

not thought about this one.

There are just so many good pics about. Have been thru all the '07 force ride pics i got, alot as i had everyones on disc from jsn, and have been playing with various things. Even ones where we have some of the group photos rather than bike photos in the mix

The only down side i see of this one is that unless its printed up on a shirt exactly as the picture it could be any make of bike rather then being obviously a husaberg, though i suppose its pretty obvious what make we support as the uhe logo is goin to be in there somewhere so recognising the bike is not a big deal

front logo? avalible with or with out the husaberg logos.

bergy_cunnison_logo_wit_berg_logos.sized.jpg

think i'm going to have to get the 'uhe force ride '09' inside the blue banner as it would read better.

wasnt there also another bergy? a more realistic bear on all fours?

that is looking really good. What do you think of it saying "Gunnison Colorado" (CO) instead of "gunnison city?" I only remember the cartoon Bergie.

Cypher,
With the Direct to Garment Printer I have, I can print photo's with no problem. The only issue would be sizing. The photo would have to be large enough to allow resizig without causing pixelation or looking fuzzy from being blown up too large. If I got the photos on a disc or a smart media chip, that would be best.

Basicly, anything you see on a computer screen, I can print it.

Mike

Cypher,

I'm liking the three different colors of the insignia, and the three different model outlines, and since it's 21 years (better check with Roland to make sure, Lee got a line on that?) since production, that's 3 different model types, this is the 3rd NA force ride, and three times 7 + 2 models this year........oh that's the movie 23.

Anyway, I like the three types and the three insignia's, and bergie. I was going to mention putting Bergie on the shirts too.

Another Idea, if you remember, in the mid 90's I think it was, they had the three Norse god's for names of the different size bikes, the only two I can remember are Thor, and Odin, one each for the 400, 501 and 600 if I am not mistaken.

UPDATE: According to the .se site, the first prototype ran in February of 88, first race in November that same year, ridden by Thomas. First production bikes available in 89, so guess this would put Husaberg production based machines at 20 years.

Force Ride Gunnison

I am from Gunnison and I agree that you should go with Gunnison, CO not (Gunnison City) nothing here says Gunnison City. Even when mailing it's just Gunnison, CO.
I think everything else looks great and we are very excited that this is all happening here in Gunnison!

RE: Force Ride Gunnison

okly dokely only says city as thats what was on the logo that i used as a basis.

'Gunnison, CO." it'll be

Try this one. not too sure about having the 'unofficial' or the dates ( before anyone starts arguing im taking the 1989 date as thats when production bikes where avalible) as it makes it look cluttered. also need to match the outlining on the words up.

I think to make this look less cluttered/busy, I would put the different Husaberg logo's on the sleeves. I would also loose the "unofficial". Just my .02.

Otherwise it looks pretty darn good.
