THANK YOU!

Roy Thomas at Dixie Sales deserves a huge Thank You for supplying the Moab event with great Husaberg items for the raffle. Roy, your shirt is in the mail.

BOSS - Rick, I don't think very many people at the event even have a clue as to what you did for us and I can't thank you enough. Rick, I forget who the guy was that threw in the set of tires, but please tell him thanks again.

Bikebarn - Kurt, thank you for attending and also for the very nice raffle items. I hope to see you again sometime.

Gunnison Motorsports - Fritz, thank you for the raffle items and you left those that you rode with great tales to tell about how you ride and handle that Husaberg. Made me wish I had been there to witness it myself.

MotoXotica - Dan & Ann, thank you for your donation to the raffle. Dan, I hope that KTM didn't leave to much of a lasting impression upon your body or bike.

Bendberg - Thank you for the raffle items.

Fryguy - Lee, I think we really surprised MotoXotica & BOSS with the big credit cards. Thank you for taking care of that.

Berger & Dez Duster - Thank you guys for the additional raffle items and your help in getting Force Ride 2007 up and going. Dez, next time make sure you wear a life vest if there is going to be any water near by.(just messin' with you)

Bobzilla - Bob, you deserve the Golden Plunger Award for the great chili dinner you cooked up. I know the campground was real pleased with the after effects. They had to bring in the big guns to clear the pipes. Bob & Neal, you guys rock!

Last but not least, thank you to all of you who made the trip to Moab. Taffy, Kez and Cyfer, I hope each of you had a great time and go home with a lifetime of memories.

Until next time................

Mike

it looked like the raffle was pretty cool, but makes it seem like berg riders aren't very serious about riding to have it start so early.

maybe next time i'll get there it time to win something.

Maybe you should have started your ride earlier ? Just try to practice the 6 p's Prior, Planning, Prevents, Piss , Poor, Progress........

Velo,
Like you said "we were having fun". That was one of the main reasons for going to Maob. It wasn't to race or see how many miles could be done in a day. The price of having all that fun was being late to the "Last Supper & Raffle". We even waited an extra 1/2 hr for you guys before beginning.

aww. shucks. guess i'll just blame taffy then for taking too long in the shower. we prolly shoulda just headed straight there from the ride like cheeseberger did.

Is that what that smell was? I thought it was lasting effects of Bobs Chilli. I want to know how he made it. A bit mild but the best I have ever eaten. A life time of memories and new friends, THANK YOU ALL... Mabye next time Sethro will be able ride faster, I hade to turn it down a notch due to his slow riding style. Now Elf, That chick can ride...

I know I need to step it up, someday I will be as good as you, 8O the Elf is giving me lessons so maybe it won't be to long.

I'd like to add my thanks to those of Ossaman.

Lots of pre-planning paid off. We determined early-on that we would not micromanage this event and thanks to the group leaders it was relatively smooth. They made it happen and deserve all the credit for the fun rides that everyone went out on.

We did not imagine that we'd have so many raffle prizes! Nice touch, eh?

There is some 'donation' $$ left over and it will be sent to the UHE.

I personally am very happy that I live in the driest part of the country. Water sucks.

No one got seriously hurt, When a few bikes broke down good folks jumped in to help out , and lots of smiles were evident. All's well that ends well.

Dez.

She "taught" me on a couple of the faster sections. I didn't know a 450 Honda could roost like that.

i even made off with a BOSS t-shirt that someone else left at the restaurant. SCORE!

note that this t-shirt was delivered to our table by the waitstaff as they were cleaning up and we were the last people in there. if the rightful owner who walked off without it wants it back, let me know.

btw, big thanks to dezduster for his part in getting the ride groups thing loosely organized.

agreed. bravo to ossaman. any listing of individuals is bound to be incomplete because so many people contributed in some way or another. here's a shout out to those like coronaberg and berger that brought loaner bikes (there may have been others too), which is what enabled our pommie friends to make the trip. i even rode one of coronabergs bikes up a nasty rock climb at the end of the day, and berger's generosity 2 years ago in letting me take his bike for an hour or so is what pushed me over the edge into husaberg ownership.

maybe it would be shorter to make a list of people who didn't really contribute anything but had a great time due to the generosity and hard work of others. i nominate myself for that list.

Put me on that list as well. I had an absolute blast, can't wait until next time. :D

Husa dependable

Hey Fry
Did you get a count of Bergs at this meeting? I think it was at least 40 and if you cant count Crash dammage ( which Boss repaired and then rode out) and submarineing ( which we de watered and de muded and rode out) I cant think of any breakdowns. How many miles do you think we logged as a group with no Husaberg failures?
We did work on OTHER brands!

Says alot about the Brand if you ask me!

RE: Husa dependable

Unless I'm mistaken, on day 1, coronaberg's buddy had a fuel pump failure. I was going to take a pic of the tow in progress, but my camera batteries died...

thanks,
