Force Editions in Australia

Hi there, new to the forums. I have a 2004 FC 450, Force edition. Honestly, I bought the bike because it seemed like something different, haha. I really haven't got that much idea about the pedigree of Husaberg, and thus, didn't even realize that the force editions are a bit of a version until recently joining the forums. Was wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit about how they're different from standard models and how common they are in Australia?

Edit: I might add, i'm specifically talking about the FC model force editions from 2004, not force editions in general.

Hi OddCoffee and welcome, its been years since I saw the specs last time from an old advert...I will try to find it and send a copy.

Generally, I remember that they had different stickers, plastic's and triple clamps was billet(I dont know the exact offset though but if I understand correctly from the parts manual it was 22). I think FC version had black frame in addition with FS and FE force that frame was in blue color(might be rong). As you might all ready know, the FC versions didnt have starter and the ignition was only for spark, with smaller pinion and rotor. The CDI was different too in all FC. The rims might be Takasago or something else but not from Behr.

Here you can check the parts manual:

Hello!

I'm working on getting an FE450 force edition alive again, check it out:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=17572

As far as I know the difference between a standard FE and a force edition are:

- front forks with polished piston in it and with spring preload adjuster
- CNC triple clamps
- number of production on triples (only 511 Force editions made)
- seat with a pocket for a time card
- black gas tank plastics
- different design of decals
- DID Dirtstar rims (black and rounded)

Cheers!
