FMF Factory 4.1

I crushed the stop pipe on my FX and got the Mega Bomb and 4.1. Love the pipes. Really revs faster now too.

What does "revs faster" mean? Does it mean it revs higher before the rev limiter cuts spark?
We all know the EFI can't do that? Unless of cause you let it idle for 15 minutes pointed in an up hill inclination with a WR450F in direct line of sight in front of the Husaberg :lol:

Surely you couldn’t tell if the engine actually accelerated from idle to maximum revs quicker just by riding it?

I would tend to surmise that "rev faster" means to rev quicker bro. i.e less time to rev from idle to max revs (probably due to less restriction in the exhaust).
I am sure if crazyted meant it revved higher he would have typed higher not faster.

Maybe you could try letting your bike idle a little longer Davo, might help clear your vision.........

I would just prefer to see a before and after dyno run or even just try and time how fast it accelerates. :wall:

Nah nah yeah nah oh maybe davobro. I still havnt got the hang of this computer thingy yet hence the "miss quote" of the addition of an errorness bro...... should have been a split quote with bollox in between but these electronic wizard boxes are a bit complex for me..... acctually a piece of string can be a bit complex for me some days, just gota make sure I dont get hung up in it.... damit, I need some salubrication.

As for the Akra debate... I struggle to spend near on 1k on an exhaust that will only gain a couple of horse power (yeah I know its the feeeel of improvment from fitting a good pipe rather than the measurable gains that count) when I would much rather spend that money on better oil for my motor and doing the odd training day with x champions to truely improve my ability to fully utalise what husaberg have built........

And if that aint enuff to get a debate going then I need a few drops of the worlds finest amber..........
