Has anyone tried fitting a slightly thicker o-ring on the waterpump shaft to alleviate the oil leak from the weep hole? I picked up a few different sizes and am going to try this.

been there done that !!!
the oem o' ring fits the best , try and find one that is a fraction larger and then find out that the bearing will not engage on the shaft .
