My 1st topic :!:
Bought this pipe off our local forum last week:

Googling the exhaust, it was evident that unlike a normal slip-on, the header pipe slides into the silencer, as opposed to the slip-on, slipping onto the header pipes.
Like so:

Standard TRX450 pipe removed:

Notice how the standard exhaust slips over the 50mm pipe:

..and how the header pipe slides into the vince:

The adjustable clamp makes for easy fastening to the frame:

I gave it some fresh exhaust packing too (notice the red silicon)

I will say it does look trick....the only downside will be the lead pipe or header pipe goes around the start of the can which will be a leak point usually even if the pipes fit tight. if they are a nice tight fit though it might be minimal or nil being as its back that far and with a free flowing can; testing will tell. on a loose joint like this, as long as the pipe closer to the engine goes into the trailing pipe and fits tight it wont leak. if its clamped it wont leak either way but looks ugle and may not come apart without destroying it depending on the style of clamp used. if it did leak excessivly you can always cut a small slot lengthwise down the pipe an inch in or so from the end and put a cv boot style clamp or equivalent on it and still look fine and come apart, once you cut the clamp off of course....let us know how it works out....

Perhaps I'm not understanding you correctly..
To clarify, the vince pipe has exactly the same connection to the exhaust as the stock silencer, only, it sits on the inside. I.e. 3cm long, 50mm connecting pipe inside the vince.

This means it has the same sealing capacity as the stock unit. I gave it some high temp silicon on the connection for good measure.

I thought you said on the factory connection the headpipe goes into the can with the new setup the headpipe goes around the start of can. as a general note reguarding exhaust systems, the pipes are less likely to leak if the front pipe goes inside of the following pipe, for example if you have three pipes on a system the back end of the first pipe will go inside the start of the second pipe and the end of the second pipe will go inside the start of the 3rd pipe. do you understand or is it still me that is confused? :D

 You are still confused yes.

Bottom line; the Leo Vince is a perfect fit with no leaks 8)

Thanks
My jetting is a mess at the moment but hopefully I'll have it running 100% in no time
