Hi folks,
I just ordered a set of new tires for my 08'450.
Front is the Dunlop D606 , 90/9012-21
Rear is same 130/90-18

My question is, is this rear going to rub or am I ok ?
The 650 runs a 130 & doubt the swingarm is different.
So thing is, I want as much tire back there for dirt as possible.

Thanks in advance---Proflow

Chassis are all the same, it’ll fit as long as your muffler hasn’t suffered a hit. The black framed models, ‘06-‘08 didn’t have any tire clearance problems.

The blue framed ‘04-‘05 had the front tire just about kiss the head pipe and the rear scrubbed the can. My late model ‘05 650 came with the updated (‘06 spec) pipe and corresponding kicker, but I had to clearance my muffler with a 2x4 and added a couple thicker spacers which allowed a 140 to clear easily.

I was wondering where that dent came from ! lol.
Looks like im already clearanced :) perfect !

Not a blk frame.
OK, baby has those new shoes & going through the tests soon.
Looks like the rear might be almost maxed w/chain flop but not swingarm.
I'll keep an eye on it & let ya know.
If I can, going bigger on the rear , just saying.
