good night ..

i ve just returned from my first husaberg fe570 ride.

my name is bruno , 41 year old and i ve been riding offroad bikes for the past 20 years .
from cr crf yz 2 stokes 200exc and the infamous ktm 450 exc RFS and long time banshee adict .

today made 180km mostly fast woods and fire crackers , firts imprection is a vy good bike felt light when going fast.
very controlable and usable power, easyer then my 450exc and alot easyer then crf450.
you will never remeber ist a 570 unless open full trotlle. love the engine !

the front is too soft and not to confident on highspeed (made 114kph) maybe this one neads a stabilizer. more confident going seated then liftet at full trotlle straits? nead more time riding.

to soft for sandy mx track i passed 2 along the ride ...i think the rear end is harder to turn whith a lifted from seat position .

but is my new bike and i have to get used to....

I don't know your weight but they are generally to soft.

I am 85 kg + equipment and mud and my bike is perfect with 4.8 in forks and 8.0 on shock. Make sure your sag is according to manual and I personally prefer an Öhlins steering damper as the rake of a 70 degrees is relative low.

interesting to hear! thanks for the writeup

mine feels / felt similar

they are a little sensitive to sag, maybe try lowering the rear and raising the front a bit? maybe just a few mm ...

that said, while the front can be a little flighty, it "jumps back" very fast also (so it is kind of stable but pretends to be unstable ... something to get used to.) in comparison, a DR-Z can feel unstable and IS unstable :/ (but this can again be changed by setting sag)

I'm 92 Kg's and went with a 4.8, but DALE EO played with my shim stack and set it up for high speed desert. The bars would kick a lot in the loose stuff at high speed.

Bought the Scott's damper on E-Bay, and sent it back for rebuild. You would think you're riding on the street. Damper is a must with the speeds you reach on these.

Revalved, re-sprung, and a damper; the bike felt like a Cadillac in the wash at 100-110 kph.

I will stiffen up to 4.9's since most of my riding now is tight single track. The front end is a little too soft, and it's hard to know what the ground is doing underneath you. The dirt to granite slabs transitions are difficult to load up the front, not enough pop to clear the faces.

Enjoy the ride!
