I rode one of the few 2009 FE450 demo bikes in the US today. The bike is amazing! I rode it back to back with my 2008 KTM 250XCF in some typical New England terrain(rocks, roots, logs) and on a grasstrack and felt instantly comfortable on it. It feels just as light and nimble as my 250 but with more power. The fuel injection is spot on. The suspension is really good in stock form. The front end sticks to the ground and carves thru the turns. The new Magura clutch has an even ligter pull than the Brembo on my KTM. Also, the bike is super quiet!
The first 450's should be at dealers in a couple weeks with the 570's coming in about a month.
