There is no way the tanks up to '05 hold anywhere near 10.5 liters, no matter what the website says. So we will net over a one gallon gain.

Admittedly, I don't have a new style tank, but the Owners manual quotes 9.5 liters for the new style '06 and up tank. 9 liters for the old style tank like I have on my '05. Does anyone's tank really hold 10.5 liters? I don't think Austrailia got a different tank size, I guess I could be wrong.
 
mine holds 9 litres by the bowser (yeah I have run out and had to push it to the servo a few times) but the new tank plus the under seat tank would be heaps, much more and the bike would be too heavy and a suspension setup would be pretty hard to ge right with the weight change as the fuel runs out.

I'd be keen to get a blue one if some one can give be a ball park $ value. Aussie and canadian dollars are verry close if that helps. :)
